About us

We work on a bespoke, project-by-project basis.

Disasters do not affect everyone equally. Research consistently shows that their impact varies across society, with some groups experiencing far greater harm than others.

Women and girls, older people, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities and gender and sexual minorities are often among those most severely affected. They face higher fatality rates, more serious injuries, and greater long-term economic impacts. The way humanitarian aid is distributed after a disaster can also deepen these inequalities, influencing who recovers quickest—and who is left behind.

At DRR Dynamics, we work with governments, NGOs, academic partners and through independent research to challenge these imbalances. Our aim is to help shift disaster risk reduction and response away from one-size-fits-all approaches and towards systems that are more inclusive, equitable and effective for everyone.
