Designed for practitioners and policymakers working in DRR, CCA, and humanitarian response, the course combines global frameworks with real-world case studies. Participants will gain practical tools to integrate inclusion and intersectionality into their daily work.


Module 1: Understanding Inclusive DRR

Explore what inclusion and intersectionality mean in disaster risk reduction. Understand how social, economic, and cultural factors influence vulnerability and resilience in different contexts.


Module 2: Engaging Marginalised Groups

Learn practical ways to identify and involve people who are often excluded from risk planning. Discover how participation builds trust and strengthens local disaster preparedness.


Module 3: Policy and Framework Alignment

Examine how the Sendai Framework, Paris Agreement, and SDGs connect to inclusive risk reduction. Analyse how national policies can better reflect community realities.


Module 4: Inclusive Early Warning and Anticipation

Study how early warning and anticipatory systems can reach everyone. Understand barriers to access and explore methods to make alerts actionable for diverse communities.


Module 5: From Policy to Practice
